The Guerilla Girls are badass, anonymous, and on a roll. The group came together in New York in 1985, with a mission to destroy the patriarchy, racial inequality, and traditional gender norms. They are activists who use gorilla masks to hide their identity, and also use pseudonyms that honor feminist artists.

Their motto is “Reinventing the F word: feminism!” I look forward to seeing more of the Guerilla Girls out in the world.
